Everything happens on your device. Because PDF is a fixed-layout format and Word reflows text, the result is a close, editable reconstruction — not a pixel-perfect copy.

How to use the PDF to Word converter

What it preserves

What may differ, and what is not supported

This is a close reconstruction, not an identical copy. Because Word reflows text, exact positioning is approximated. Complex or heavily designed layouts, borderless or nested tables, and intricate multi-column pages may differ from the original. Fonts may be substituted with the closest match your reader has installed — the tool does not embed the PDF's fonts. Vector graphics, background shapes and decorative elements are generally not carried across. Scanned or photographed PDFs contain pictures of text rather than real text, so there is nothing to extract; converting those to editable words needs OCR, which is not included here. When a page has no readable text, the tool tells you honestly instead of inventing content.

Privacy and security
