What is a case converter?

A case converter is a free online tool that changes the letter case of your text without you having to retype anything. It is handy for fixing text that arrived in the wrong case (for example, a heading typed with Caps Lock on), preparing titles and headlines, tidying up copied content, and formatting text for essays, emails, social posts and code comments. Everything runs in your browser, so it is fast and private — your text is never uploaded.

The case options explained

• UPPERCASE — turns every letter into a capital: HELLO WORLD.
• lowercase — turns every letter small: hello world.
• Title Case — capitalises the first letter of every word: Hello World. Good for titles and headings.
• Sentence case — capitalises only the first letter of each sentence: Hello world. This is a test.
• Capitalize Each Word — like Title Case, it puts a capital at the start of every word.
• aLtErNaTiNg CaSe — alternates between lower and upper case letter by letter, for a playful effect.

Is it private?

Yes. The Case Converter does all of its work locally in your web browser using JavaScript. Your text is never sent to a server, never stored, and never shared — close the tab and it is gone. There is no sign-up and no tracking.
