Add a text or logo watermark to an image in your browser — choose position, opacity, size, rotation and colour. Everything stays on your device; nothing is uploaded.
Runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is uploaded.
Note: watermarking runs in your browser with JavaScript. With JavaScript off you can read this guide, but the tool controls will not appear.
This tool stamps a text or logo watermark onto an image entirely in your browser — no upload and no network request. Choose from nine positions and control opacity, size, rotation, margin and colour, then download in your chosen format. Both your main image and any logo stay on your device.
Your main image is drawn onto an off-screen canvas at full resolution. The watermark is then drawn on top: for text, the tool sets the font, colour and opacity and draws it with the canvas text API; for a logo, it decodes your image locally and draws it scaled to your chosen percentage of the main image width. Opacity is applied by blending the watermark into the image, position is calculated from the nine anchor points plus your margin, and rotation is applied around the watermark's centre. The result is encoded to your chosen format in memory, and temporary object URLs are released when you apply again or clear.
A visible watermark deters casual copying but can be cropped or edited out; it is not DRM. When saving as JPG, transparent areas of the main image are filled with a background colour because JPG has no transparency — use PNG or WebP to keep transparency. Very large images are guarded against to keep the browser responsive.
Everything runs locally in your browser. Your image and logo are never uploaded, stored or shared, and the tool makes no network requests.

Remove a solid or near-uniform background from an image in your browser and get a transparent PNG. It uses a local colour-based edge algorithm — not an AI model — and works best on product shots, logos and graphics. Your image is never uploaded.
