Convert and calculate your salary

This calculator works out your pay across every period entirely in your browser — enter a salary at any period and it converts it to gross annual, monthly, weekly, daily and hourly figures, then adds optional overtime and a bonus and applies generic deductions to estimate your net pay.

How it works

  1. Enter your salary and its period — annual, monthly, weekly, daily or hourly.
  2. Set your schedule — working days per week and hours per day.
  3. Add optional extras — overtime hours and multiplier, a bonus, a percentage deduction and fixed deductions.
  4. Click Calculate to see gross figures for every period plus an estimated net, and copy the results.

What it calculates

  • Gross pay — annual, monthly, weekly, daily and hourly, from a single input.
  • Overtime — weekly overtime hours at your base rate × a multiplier, annualised.
  • Bonus & deductions — an annual bonus, a percentage deduction and fixed deductions.
  • Estimated net — per year and per month, after the deductions you enter.
  • Currency symbol — display only; no conversion is performed.

How the maths works

The calculator converts your salary to a gross annual figure using 52 weeks per year, then derives the other periods from it — monthly is annual ÷ 12, weekly is annual ÷ 52, daily is annual ÷ (days per week × 52), and hourly is annual ÷ (days × hours × 52). Total gross adds overtime and bonus; the percentage and fixed deductions are then subtracted to estimate net.

Important limitation

This is a general salary calculator, not tax advice. It does not calculate any specific country's income tax, national insurance or social contributions — the percentage and deduction fields are generic so you can approximate your own situation. For exact figures, check with your employer or a qualified professional.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the salary conversion work?
Enter your salary and its period (annual, monthly, weekly, daily or hourly) plus your working days per week and hours per day. The tool converts everything to a gross annual figure using 52 weeks per year, then derives the monthly, weekly, daily and hourly amounts from it.
Does this calculate my country's income tax?
No. This is a general salary calculator, not tax advice, and it does not model any specific country's income tax. The percentage and fixed-deduction fields are generic so you can approximate whatever deductions apply to you.
How are overtime and bonus handled?
Overtime hours are treated as hours per week, paid at your base hourly rate multiplied by the overtime multiplier, and annualised over 52 weeks. A bonus is added as an annual lump sum. Both are optional and default to zero.
How is estimated net pay calculated?
Total gross = base salary + overtime + bonus. The tool then subtracts the percentage deduction (applied to total gross) and any fixed annual deductions to give an estimated net figure per year and per month. It is an estimate, not a payslip.
Is my data stored or sent anywhere?
No. All calculations run locally in your browser — the numbers you enter are never uploaded, saved or shared, and the tool makes no network requests.
